| Born to deeply religious minded parents in 1959 at Jammu, India, Dr. Rajeev Mohan Kaushik had his initial schooling at Jammu. He did his MBBS from the presitigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India and MD (Medicine) from Medical College, Jammu. Presently, he is working as a professor in the Department of Medicine, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, India. He has many publications in the international medical journals and has been a faculty in several international medical congresses. He was awarded Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians for his significant contribution towards promoting a rational combination of alternative therapies with modern medical treatment. He has been involved in regular meditative practices which gave him an insight into the esoteric realms of life and inspired him to examine in detail all types of alternative therapies, particularly those involving Yoga and spiritual practices. |
